Apparently, in the 50s the USAF almost engaged a UFO. Note that the radar signature was the size of an aircraft carrier. Now, if it had been the size of a battleship, we all know what THAT would have been.

The Giant Claw, based on a true story. Who'd have thunk?

Not sure why this is being reported now. There were a whole bunch of these types of reports in the late 50s and early 60s, and there was a real UFO craze. Jack Webb did a TV show (called "Project UFO") about the Air Force's Project Blue Book that was supposedly investigating them.
