Title: Your Favorite "WTF" Moments in Cinema
Post by: Metropolisforever on November 06, 2008, 10:39:12 PM
There are some scenes that just make you  :buggedout:.  You know what I'm talking about.  When these scenes burst off the screen, you start twitching, intensely focused on the insanity you are witnessing.

Ah, yes, who can forget such beautiful and breathtaking moments like these?:

...and these are some of the milder examples.

NOTE: If you are at your workplace (and I highly doubt that you are), then don't view these clips.  The boss will probably think you're a deranged sociopath, and he'll probably send you to a mental asylum.

As always, feel free to add to this list, and you don't have to post videos.

In every b-movie, there's always some point in which I get this vibe, like I can feel the cast & crew thinking "We're not gonna get away with this, are we".

It's about this point that they discard any illusion of maintaining their integrity as film makers, and start laying on the b-ness thicker & heavier.

My personal favorite is the scene in RollerBlade, in which Young Christopher discovers that the evil Satakoy suffers from one of the downright silliest afflictions ever.

I posted this before: there was a "100 Greatest WTF moments" thread that got abandoned.

This is the scene that is responsible for my interest in b-movies.  I've spent the rest of my life searching for something to duplicate that "WTF?" feeling.  "Bevare..."
