Title: Do The Pretzel Gods Exist?
Post by: Mr. DS on November 07, 2008, 09:43:35 PM
I love pretzels, ever since my childhood days.  Right now I'm chowing on some Snyder's Of Hanovers pretzel sticks.  I find myself enjoying this brand the most.  I used to like Bachman but they seem to have changed their recipe.  Utz puts out a good dark brand which has a nice semi-burnt taste to them.  They're in the traditional old fashioned pretzel form.

What are you favorite pretzels?  What shape do you prefer them in?

Snyder's pretzels rule! :teddyr:

I love the garlic nibblers, as well as the honey mustard nibblers. Right now I have the same as you - a bag of pretzel sticks. Pretzels are my favorite "crunchy" snack.

My son has started a lifelong addiction to pretzels already.  Actually it was one of his first food requests.   :bouncegiggle:  Rold Gold also puts out some fine pretzels but I mostly prefer their pretzel rods.  Believe it or not, a lot of generic brands rock. For example, the cheapy brand the supermarket stocks.

I never have any desire for a hard pretzel, but I love a good, hot soft pretzel dripping with butter and drizzled with yellow mustard...

Love soft pretzels. The local coffee shop has started carrying them, and it makes a nice breakfast on the go.

As for bagged hard pretzels, I'm not a huge fan, but the Snyder's honey mustard nibblers are very good.

Soft Pretzels with salt or cheese, nothing better.
