Title: Kakurenbo: Hide & Seek
Post by: BTM on November 11, 2008, 02:56:57 PM
"There's a street where no one lives, where ghostly lights flicker in the shadows -- and it's whispered that the children who play hide-and-seek there after dark are kidnapped by demons and disappear forever. Joining the game to search for his missing sister, a boy named Hikora gathers eight children to help him in his quest. But when the street lamps flare (even though no one is there to light them), it appears that they're not alone."

Wow!  You want to talk dark and creepy, this short film definitely fits the bill!  If you're a have of Silent Hill (the game series) or just creepy things in general, this would be a good piece to check out, and if you've got Netflix you can watch it instantly on your PC.

Only downside I'd give it is, to me, there was potential in the film for way more story than it gave us, but I suppose the point was to keep it short and sweet (the film is only 25 minutes long).

Still, I recommend checking it out!
