Title: MASSACRE (1989) Post by: The Burgomaster on November 16, 2008, 09:19:46 AM This is another bad movie that is included in Mill Creek's TOMB OF TERRORS 50 MOVIE PACK. Here is Mill Creek's synopsis:
"When six gorgeous young models embark on a seductive fun-in-the-sun weekend, they are sucked into a world where the line between fantasy and reality dissolves. From the deepest recesses of their minds comes visions of depravity, torture and murder, but are they horrific visions or documented reality?" What you really get is a group of annoying guys and gals who play trivia games, bicker with one another, and have sex. The movie keeps switching back and forth between dreams and reality and I got pretty tired of trying to figure out what the hell was going on. It does have some blood and gore (with mediocre effects) to keep the viewer awake, but I still couldn't get through this 73 minute film in one sitting. I watched the first 25 minutes or so, then turned it off and watched the rest the next night. I do give the movie credit for the big (okay, maybe NOT so big) twist ending. But other than that, it's just another run-of-the mill, amateurish, cheapo production. |
