I got hit with this, it's only for $0.24, , but who knows how much that will change by opening of business on Monday. What showed on my bank statement is "PURCHASE ADELE SERVICES 8005789641 NY 0.24". 

Hopefully nobody else got hit, but if you did, , post here and maybe we can figure out what common vendors we used and find who leaked our info.

I just checked my account online and found nothing out of the ordinary.

Well after seeing that same  "ADELE SERVICES 8005789641 NY" charge my acct .22 I checked fot the address and found your blog.....I also have no idea what it ia about but I WILL find out!!!

i had something similar like this happen once after making a purchase from posters.com, i called them and they hit me with it again the next month before it was finally removed.

I talked to my bank, they say this is just a test, someone got a hold of my cad number and was merely testing it to see if it was a valid card. They say one of the biggest mistakes people make is dismissing a questionable charge because it is only a few cents.

my credit card got charged $0.23

Talk to your bank. Don't let the low amount throw you off, It's like someone picking the lock to your home, opening the door, then just sticking a toe inside. 99% of the work is done, and they KNOW it. The only thing left for them to do is to make the big charge, stop 'em before they do so.

Thanks, I did check my account and all seems correct.  I will certainly keep a closer eye on it. 

I just check my statement today, and I found the charge of $0.25 from ADELE SERVICES.  I'm going to find out what's going on.  I know it's small amount, but if I don't put a stop to it, god knows what's next.

I've disputed the below charge. It is clearly part of a fraudulant card scan. (google the merchant)
We were in New York City that weekend and prior to the charge had our credit card out at only three locations (identified by transactions on my account listing - also below.) It would appear that one of the sites for valid charges is stealing credit card numbers and passing them on to the merchant named - ADELE SERVICES 8005789641 NY.
