Is this some new secret weapon developed to wipe out the those pesky squirrel terrorists?

Nature's kind of weird that way.  Averages tend to be composed of a whole lot of big numbers and a whole lot of small numbers, confounding people who think they should consist of a whole lot of average numbers.

On the other hand, we had a freakin' bazillion maple seeds all over the place this year.

I think the decline of acorns suggestively coincides with the recent epidemic of squirrel obesity we been hearing so much about. Hmmmmm....

maybe it is the other way around. :buggedout:
 maybe the squirrel king have collected all the nut for himself, and telling his minions that it was we who did it, filling them whit a endless anger so instead of enslaving humankind will they wipe us of the map.  :buggedout:

Bingo!  And the squirrels around my folks' place in Newport News VA seem  to be in high corn when it comes to acorns.
