Title: Late 80's - early 90's film roommates lliving together in a house and one paints
Post by: Aj on December 10, 2008, 09:24:53 PM
There was a movie I remember watching, it may have come out around the the same time as Flatliners (for some reason I associate the 2. I think the people are roommates and one of them paints a wall over and over and he usually has one of the roommates in the wall painting (painting their bodies the same as the wall). The movie ends with a painting of a few of them in a painted picnic scene.

I almost feel like I made this movie up because no one has any clue what I am talking about.

Though the painting was two-dimensional, did it look three-dimensional? Then Darius is correct. That is "Where the Heart Is?" One of the few films about that style of art which is called Trompe-l'oeil. I also remember Dabney Coleman being in it.

Is it me or is this film reminiscent of Three Men and a Baby? I know it is probably not but is still extremely close in the description. :tongueout:
