Title: "Terra Nova" opens tonight!! Post by: peter johnson on January 09, 2009, 02:08:32 PM I guess this is the most appropriate place to post this -- As it is "other media" -- though you can see a filmed trailer for the show at www.longmonttheatre.org --
I open tonight as Evans in Ted Tally's "Terra Nova" -- run through the end of January. http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2009/jan/02/into-the-cold/ will take you to a great written preview, wherein you may see a picture of me, along with some of the rest of the cast. http://denver.yourhub.com/Longmont/Stories/News/General-News/Story~564690.aspx will take you to a mini-slideshow & article about my father-in-law, who mapped Antarctica, and some more on the play. In 1911-1912, five Englishmen raced five Norwegians to the bottom of the Earth. Only the Norwegians returned. This is the story of the Englishmen. I have an incredible death scene that is one of the most draining things I've ever done, either on film or in any other medium. Anyone in the Longmont/Colorado area, please try to catch this -- peter johnson/denny crane/edgar evans Title: Re: "Terra Nova" opens tonight!! Post by: Ed, Ego and Superego on January 09, 2009, 03:16:10 PM I saw this once at the University of Wyoming a LONG time ago. It was amazing, I saw it in July, but it was presented such that I felt frozen.

The Denver Post review is really the best, as they can be quite dismissive of small theatre efforts. http://www.cairnmag.com/Art-and-Show-Reviews/Terra-Nova-review.html http://www.dailycamera.com/news/2009/jan/15/theater-terra-nova/ http://www.denverpost.com/theater/ci_11454785 |
