The first full week of 2009 started off most miserably, when news of the death of pioneering punk guitarist Ron Asheton was announced. I 'd buy ones that looked unusual. So, in my collection I have promo copies of Suzi Quatro's first two killer albums, The New York Dolls first album, and The Stooges Raw Power to name a few. Next to the Dolls and Sabbath's Paranoid, Raw Power remains my favorite from that period. Every song is classic. I'm glad I saw their reunion tour years ago.
