Title: Weird Sci Fi Foreighn cartoons
Post by: Dwight on January 17, 2009, 06:32:35 PM
In the early eighties I saw some weird foreign cartoons perhaps russian, that had
a witch that flew around in what seemed to be a pair of dentures that looked like'
snake fangs.

The other is about some kid that made his own spaceship and flew to a weird planet where
the people were transparent and you could see the food going down their esophagus when
they ate, I think you could see the lungs etc, all transparent though.

the last one is a black and white (i think) cartoon about a kid with glasses in the desert that
met another guy and one of thenm turned into an asp with glasses

Did Svankmajer do cartoons?  I think of drawings when I think "cartoon".  I think stop-animation when I think Svankmajer.  Svank's stuff is definitely worth checking out, though.

I have the same question as the previous poster. I looked up Jarvic Spankmeiner
and he seems to do stuff like for the band "Tool" music videos with claymation
and the like. I'm talking about cartoons.

Has anybody seen any cartoon animation with a witch flying around in a pair of fang dentures
I think they were two fangs on top and two on the bottom. I honestliy cannot remember
if it was japanimation or eastern european. It may have even been some version of the wizard of oz.
