Title: Weird Kung Fu movie with live head in a basket Post by: Dwight on January 17, 2009, 06:49:58 PM I'm looking for a title of a kunf fu movie I saw perhaps in 1990 that had
these withches that lived in a chinese type house, and one of them was either a detached head on a basket, or they cut off her head somewhere along the line and it stayed alive in the basket. Do you remember any specifics about the movie you are looking for? Is it a period piece or modern? Kung fu or just regular schmoes?

The detatched head is another common motif in asia, but I don't have any good links at the moment because I lost them all when the laptop nuked itself. It doesn't sound like any of the main Mr. Vampire films, but could be one of the spinoffs or one of the Spooky Encounters spinoffs. --Also a list about kung fu movies youve seen that feature a lot of snakes. The detached head movie I saw, was attractive in that it had a very mysterious feel to it (I tend to favor italian films over asian films and chinese over japanese, because I feel the former are more dramatic and entertaining also more gimmiky) These 2 movies I remember having that feel. Also the one about the withch they lived in a mysterious house and there was a character with one of those rice picker hats like the one raiden has in mortal combat. I remember there were like 2 or 3 witches and one of them was very angry that they cut her sisters head off. The snake movie had a very pretty youngish looking chinese girl and someone had a little baby, and they put small snakes in the bed.
