Title: Re: 2009 Razzie Nominations Post by: InformationGeek on January 22, 2009, 07:35:05 PM Come on Disaster Movie! Win Worst Picture of the year, I know you got it! (If it does win, curiousity will kill once more, like with Jaws 4 and I'll end up watching it) For Worst Actor, I say Mike Meyers and Worst Actress would go to either Paris Hilton or Jessica Alba. Worst Remake/Sequel/Rip-Off/Prequel will either be Disaster Movie or Meet the Sparatans. Worst Director goes to Uwe Boll just for Postal. Finally, worst screenplay goes to Disaster Movie. Those are my predictions! Let's see who wins! I bet Disaster Movie goes home with all of these dishonors!

AN AMERICAN CAROL didn't make the list!! Told you it wasn't that bad! Title: Re: 2009 Razzie Nominations Post by: BoyScoutKevin on January 23, 2009, 06:01:47 PM People, can we have the people who select the nominations for the Razzies, select the nominations for next year's Oscars? Looking at the choices for the Razzies, they make far more sense than the choices for the Oscars.
Title: Re: 2009 Razzie Nominations Post by: Torgo on January 23, 2009, 06:07:07 PM I really honestly don't understand all of the hatred/backlash the Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Cyrstal Skull has gotten over the last few months.
Sure, I'll admit that out of the 4 it's the weakest of the bunch, but it's still a lot of fun. But I wasn't expecting it to come close to being another Raiders of the Lost Ark becuase quite frankly I just don't think it's possible. Raiders is perfect IMO and is one of the lightning in a bottle type filmmaking scenarios that don't come around that often. Title: Re: 2009 Razzie Nominations Post by: Fausto on January 27, 2009, 09:40:53 PM They need to televise the razzies. That would be awesome.
