Title: B-Movie Poem
Post by: BruceCampbell16 on January 25, 2009, 07:49:38 PM
I handed this in for English class last year and my teacher loved it. He was a really cool, chill guy. But I digress... Anyways, it now resides on my wall and it doesn't really have a title.

Once upon a time at my local video store
I found a VHS
It promised wizards, a dutchess, and more
Went to the counter and shelled out a buck
Cheapo B-movie, nothing but muck.

The picture was dirty, ugly, and dark
Audio unsynchronized, that dog didn't just bark!
Two second sound delay
Why is this movie made the Roger Corman way?

You didn't miss anything, the movie wasn't good
It was a bit better than something by Ed Wood.
As boring as a song by Cher
This was standard direct-to-video fare.

So when you tire of these flicks by shameless self-boaster
I suggest you use them as drink coasters.
You need to set down your vodka and oj but you have nothing to use?
Here good friend, my DVD of "The Killer Shrews."
