Title: Zombies Ahead
Post by: sprite75 on January 29, 2009, 01:34:24 PM
Some people down in Austin, Texas messed (http://www.kxan.com/dpp/news/Road_signs_warn_of_zombies) with a couple digital road signs.  So instead of warning drivers about construction, they instead warned drivers that zombies were ahead and people should run.

Some drivers were amused.  Cops and the people who own the signs aren't.

So they are using to cover story of tampering to hide the fact of a zombie outbreak.

I saw that on CNN earlier today and had to chuckle.  I understand why the authorities are not amused, but at least the people who did it didn't just post something like obscene language.  "Zombies in area!  Run!" is pretty creative, and darn funny.
