Title: trailer for my in-production horror film Post by: ds21 on February 06, 2009, 07:23:21 PM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dJsGVU3Z0c0
after two days of filming, I've made this. Tell me what you think. Title: Re: trailer for my in-production horror film Post by: Jack on February 06, 2009, 09:31:17 PM Well, if you want some constructive criticism -
There are two guys talking, and we're seeing pictures of the sun through a tree, a building, some guys walking, etc. I have no idea what this dialog has to do with these pictures. Also, the dialog is rather hard to make out, "Dude I was...?...couple of days" I can't understand what he's saying. The little drum thing is very well recorded and sounds ominous :teddyr: Title: Re: trailer for my in-production horror film Post by: ds21 on February 07, 2009, 02:03:53 AM yeah... when I watched the final version a couple of times, I realized that someone who didn't know the plot would be a little confused. Oh well. All will be clear when I finish it ;). Unfortunetly, the dialogue wont be clearer, as I don't actually have a shotgun mic for the camera. I will make a point to try and find a way to make it easier to understand. Or, if all else fails, I'll add subtitles.

For example, the Snowball. Title: Re: trailer for my in-production horror film Post by: ds21 on March 10, 2009, 06:09:36 PM what is ADR?
Title: Re: trailer for my in-production horror film Post by: Jack on March 10, 2009, 07:02:58 PM I think it's "additional dialog recording". Where you dub the dialog afterwards to make it more easily heard.
