Title: Giant Snake 2...This time IT"S ALIVE!!!
Post by: WingedSerpent on February 19, 2009, 10:15:51 PM
Apparently, in Borneo a snake nearly 100 ft long was seen and photgraphed.

Many people are saying the photo's been shoped, but there are legends of a monster snake in the area.

I am going to say fake. It looks a bit too much like those barriers they put up in water when a fuel spill happens.

Sure would be cool if it was real!  I'm going to say fake though.  Wouldn't the wake be coming off it's nose?  I don't think snakes swim with their head way out of the water.  Instead it's got two wakes that look like something somebody would airbrush in there.

I'm not too sure about this one.  The only time on my find while looking at the photo is if this is a movie still from Anaconda or something.

I'd say it's fake, even just based on "What the heck has it been eating?"

I've seen snakes swimming with their heads out of the water before.  Not ones that are often found in the water, like an anaconda.  The ones that I remember were a cottonmouth and a black rat snake.  Both of them held their heads up and out of the water.

One time I caught a black rat snake that was so long his tail touched the ground even when I raised my arm all the way above my head.  That's about seven and a half feet.  He was pretty thick, too.
