This is for a friend in work who is trying to remember the name of a film he saw way back when. H esaid it would proably be from early 80's. Sorry for the vague description.
It started out with a couple of girls who are after some pot from these guys, who take them back to a house and rape them and beat them. The girls are then led to a river or a lake and they walk out into the water. They are then executed.

The film follows the father who is trying to find the girls, and he eventually finds the men via recognising a necklace or trinket that belonged to his girl.

Any ideas?

Also, im looking for the name of a film called something to do with 'witch', where people enter a house and one of them is cut clean in half down the middle. Thats all I remember so dont worry if it doesnt ring any bells.

The first one is Last House on the Left.  (The remake of which is currently in theaters, incidentally.)

This sounds like a great viral advertisement for a movie who is being remade (for the third time)
The original is "The Virgin Spring" followed by Craven's remake "Last House On The Left" followed
by a recent one with the same name as the last.
