A Canadian Lawyer group called Lawyers Against The War want the RCMP to investigate former President George W. Bush for war crimes before he enters into Canada.

I get so incredibly SICK of the incessant left-wing persecution of this man!!!

The war against Iraq was legal and just.

Illegal combatants who wear no country's flag have NEVER been accorded the Geneva Convention protections due to prisoners of war.  In any previous conflict they would have been SHOT!

The man is out of office, and the current President seems determined to undo everything he ever accomplished anway.

GET OVER IT ALREADY!!!! :hot: :hot: :hot: :hot:

I saw a spokesperson for this group on some show this morning and it made me laugh. She looked like one of those former 60's radicals who went yuppie but beliefs are still stuck in the 60's. She kept going on and on about how Bush needs to be arrested and tried. How he has no immunity as a former head-of-state. A lot of crack pot stuff. While I never liked Bush, I can't see this group getting it's wish. And if this is the best this group can come up with a spokesperson, they have bigger problems to worry about. Mostly from squirrels cause they love nuts.

Heck, it's not just extremist Canadians, my father was at a retirement party last month for a longtime Democratic Party fundraiser, and he was talking to a one-time Congressman there, a fairly conservative Democrat from another age, whose daughter currently works for a Democratic Senator from a western state. The retired Congressman mentioned to my father that his daughter said to him "just the other day" how it is on the long-term wish list of many people to indict Donald Rumsfeld for war crimes, and that many of these same people would like to extend prosecution further than that.

Hopefully no one in American government is actually that stupid.
