Title: Does anyone remember DON ADAMS' SCREEN TEST? Post by: The Burgomaster on March 18, 2009, 02:31:43 PM When I was a kid, there was a TV show called DON ADAMS' SCREEN TEST. I believe it survived only one season. Anyway, they would show a short clip from a movie, then the contestant would act out the scene with the help of a celebrity (sort of like "Acting with the Stars"). They would have sets and make-up that resembled the actual movie. The winner would get a small role (probably as an extra) in a movie, soap opera, or TV series. Does anyone remember this show? I don't remember many details, but I believe one of the scenes they recreated was from THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN and I think Milton Berle was one of the celebrity guest stars.

I remember William Shatner on it. I think he was an indian in that one. Debbie Reynolds had to do a makeout scene with a contestant guy and I remember she wasn't pleased with how he did it. |
