Title: Long Load Times & Page Hangs Post by: Ash on March 26, 2009, 11:37:17 AM Just wondering if anybody else has been having trouble the last week or so with incredibly long load times and page hangs here on the forum.
It only appears to be with this forum. All other sites I visit do not do this. A page will take forever to load. Sometimes it'll go to switch and hang at a white screen. Other times it will hang on a black screen. The navigation from page to page feels very "jerky", as if it's struggling to load. The other day it was so bad that I just gave up and left. While the issue should be resolved, I also made some changes that should prevent the pages from loading slow in the future, even if the issue crops up again.
Stuff always has to happen when I am away or otherwise preoccupied. |
