I agree that it shouldn't be remade - some films shouldn't be touched. Well, one thing I might suggest for those wanting more is to read the book. It's good. Though I think the translation isn't one of the better ones, sometimes seems a bit wonky. I'd like to see a new adaptation but I doubt that they'd use as many wonderful puppets and things.
