Title: HEY TREK
Post by: Ed, Ego and Superego on April 03, 2009, 04:32:52 PM
I was over on Nathan Shumate's site, and saw this pic.  A look for the Shatner which I have not seen before:

The 'stache steals the image, really.

I've seen him in a couple of things with a stache, but check out the pic below for a shot of him in his short lived 1975 TV series Barbary Coast (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barbary_Coast_(TV_series)). Which by the way also starred B movie icon Doug McClure.

In his book Up Till Now, there's a still of him naked except for a ribbon about to be sacrificed by Ernest Borgnine and Ida Lupino in The Devil's Rain.  :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:  :teddyr: +  :buggedout:

I'm glad I'm not the only one here that reads Shatner's autobiographical books . Up Till Now is interesting because it is written a stream of consciousness with no chapters.

I actually remember seeing Barbary Coast.

Shatner went through a long spell in the 70's being one of the most recognizable actors in the world, but no one would hire him.
