Title: 80s horror film? Post by: StatCat on April 08, 2009, 02:52:23 AM I saw this when I was a real little kid so my memory is kind of vague. Basically a child is tucked into bed by his parents (upstairs) and shortly after some sort of monster or creature comes and kills them in the kitchen while the kid hears it above. I believe this is in the opening of the movie.
I actually think it might be nightbreed, but after viewing it, it doesn't seem exactly as I remember it. I don't think I'm dreaming it up but maybe it's just nightbreed. It's just that vague of a memory. If anyone has a clue let me know, thanks! Title: Re: 80s horror film? Post by: Tenguzame on April 08, 2009, 09:35:03 AM Well Nightbreed does begin somewhat like that, the parents are murdered by Dr. Decker (David Cronenberg) wearing his button eye's mask. The little boy must have heard this as he is at the top of the stairs crying when Decker ascends it. A very chilling sequence.
