I knew this movie was being made but didn't realize that it'll be released in just over two months.  The official release date is June 24th.

I think the subject line of this topic - Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen Trailer would make a better title for the film. I always thought that Optimus' trailer was seriously underused. I don't recall ever seeing it do anything other than get towed around in the cartoons (even that little mini-bot who was a truck towed it in one) and never played with it (again other than for towing) as a kid.

In the film, it could snap and turn against Optimus, seeking revenge for years of emotional and physical abandonment.....

Waffle over - the youtube trailer looked good for the 4 seconds until Shia LaBouf appeared. And I used to think that Spike and Daniel were annoying.

At least it doesn't look like a kiddie movie like the last one.  I'd probably make a point of catching it on TV eventually.

Unless I'm told that this one is the total opposite of the first film I will avoid it at all cost!

I'll see it.  I'm really hoping they concentrate way more on the Transformers in this one.  I hope the human characters get as little screen time as possible. 

The focus on people (and waaaaay too many of them) was the weakest point by far of the original film.  It came close to sinking the movie as a whole for me, actually.
