Title: Zero Hour! Post by: Ozzymandias on April 24, 2009, 09:07:07 PM Ozzymandias speaks: I watched Zero Hour! last night. I wanted to see it because it was the inspiration for Airplane! and we had to read the short story "Zero Hour!" in 9th grade English.
This movie is so over the top on its own, but the fact that much of the dialog and scenes are identical to Airplane! you can't help but laugh. I love when Sterling Hayden borrows a cigarette from a guy and says, "I picked the wrong week to quit smoking." The special effects on the crash landing are funny by themselves. Ozzymandias has spoken!!! |
