Title: Wtf-Film dares to look into the EYES OF THE CONDOR
Post by: wtffilm on May 13, 2009, 12:31:09 PM
Do you like low-budget dwarfsploitative Thai action comedies?  Wtf-Film thinks you should . . .

EYES OF THE CONDOR [1987] dir. Philip Chalong (http://www.wtf-film.com/ARTICLE.shtml?MAY_2009/CONDOR.html)
". . . won't win any awards and has no IMDB page on which to display them if it did, but for a low budget late 80's Thai action feature I was expecting far worse than what I received."

And in case you missed them, the other latest reviews up at Wtf-Film are:

GONGGOI [2002] Jaroongsak Vonglueng (http://www.wtf-film.com/ARTICLES/MAY_2009/GONGGOI.shtml)
"The beast's preponderance for slapping his victims in the face with his grotesquely long arms makes for a few moments of high hilarity, though not nearly enough to warrant sitting through the hour and ten minutes of narrative tedium that precedes them."

THE ISLAND OF THE DINOSAURS [1967] Rafael Portillo (http://www.wtf-film.com/ARTICLES/MAY_2009/DINOSAURIOS.shtml)
"Much like Columbia Pictures' earlier bill filler VALLEY OF THE DRAGONS, Portillo and Salazar's production is built to coincide with copious amounts of previously shot film, including the creation of matching sets and costumes. The trick works quite well, provided you haven't seen any of the special effects footage [much of it already 27 years old by this time] before."

As always, thanks for reading!

Kindest regards,

Kevin P.
