Title: Please help me find the title of this 70's drive in movie Post by: bucklj on May 15, 2009, 03:10:32 AM Hi,
I vaguely remember a story about a guy who owns a van with a fancy bed in the back he meets this brunette only problem is she somehow involved with these tough gang guys I think called the black widows or something like that. I seem to remember a shiny red jacket with the black widow symbol. Also I remember a group of guys cruising around in a van playing Led Zeppelin IV. Please help this has been driving me crazy! Ciao, Jim Title: Re: Please help me find the title of this 70's drive in movie Post by: RCMerchant on May 15, 2009, 05:10:58 AM Possibly the VAN (1977).

Title: Re: Please help me find the title of this 70's drive in movie Post by: Ash on May 15, 2009, 02:17:20 PM Is it "Every Which Way But Loose"?
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0077523/ Or it's sequel, "Any Which Way You Can". http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0080377/ Title: Re: Please help me find the title of this 70's drive in movie Post by: bucklj on May 16, 2009, 04:02:30 AM Not those but thank you for the suggestion. This was a second feature when the disaster movies were in vogue like Airport 77 or Earthquake.

It was sorta an American Graffiti with a Southern attitude. One guy had a van with a water bed in the back. If you look at the IMDb comment by aimless-46, he mentions one of the gangs in the movie is named The Widow Makers.
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0074433/usercomments At one point in the movie, the water bed gets punctured and a huge amount of water comes cascading out of the back of the van.
