Title: Curb Your Enthusiam
Post by: lester1/2jr on May 21, 2009, 09:14:34 AM
I don't have HBO so I'd never seen this.   As you no doubt already know it's by the creator of Seinfeld and as you can probably guess it's alot like Seinfeld, particualarly the earlier episodes.  Without getting too sort of joke-technical, it has the little conversational humor thingies of Seinfeld and the coincidental and sort of George Kastanza nit picky, obsessive man vs world type  stuff but not the sheer number of laughs in between which you'd have to guess was Seinfelds contribution but I could be totally wrong.  So the big and small but not the in between.  BUt I really liked it and will definately be watching the whole series.  at the same time, it is a difficult rental because it doesn't lend itself all that well to watching episode after episode.  You know when you're done.

I don't really watch tv anymore but when I did I watched curb your enthusiasm. I liked it more than Seinfeld.

I was laughing so hard when I saw Larry David sitting in the front row at the Laker's playoff game the other night.  That was deja vu to a pretty good episode!
