I always have to go with Paul Stanley, the star-child. The guy is a fantastic singer/performer/writer and a really nice dude. Plus, he single-handedly dragged KISS' ass through the 80's (my favourite period in KISStory) whilst Gene $immons was off playing moviestar/producer. I'll admit though, I nearly went with "other schmucks" as I am also a monster fan of Vinnie Vincent, who's guitar playing I drool over and he did write a fair few great songs for the band to get them back in the big-time. I have to say aswell, Eric Carr (10 years with KISS) should have be one of the voting options. A far, far superior drummer to Peter Criss. R.I.P. If they let you play music in Heaven, I'm definitely going to have to find Eric and jam with him. EDIT: But I voted for Paul because Eric wasn't a choice. I like Paul almost as much, he is a superb showman and musician. Gene is cool and a great inspiration to my bass playing, but he's a little too hung up on the money vs. the music.
