Title: Cheerleader dancing in an empty hall
Post by: stonethrower on June 02, 2009, 07:18:59 PM
Can anyone tell me which movie this might be?
I'm pretty sure that it's American, late sixties or seventies.
There were recurring shots of a girl sleeping and some semi-surreal sequences.
I can't remember much of he plot, but it seemed to have a sort of sleeping beauty motif.
It might all have been happening in the sleeping girls head...
The one minor scene I can remember clearly involves a cheerleader going through a routine on a stage in an empty school hall.
A man in the hall persuades her to do it with only a short skirt on and she does so to please him, but when she finishes, she looks up and realizes that he's gone away, long ago.

It really didn't seem to have much to recommend it, but not knowing the title has bothered me for years.

Damn!  I saw this and not very long ago, either!  On the tip of my tongue.   :hatred:

Fantastic!
For a while I've wondered if I just dreamt this up. (Though I never actually get dreams like this...)
It's really hard to place without stars or even a story really.
Many thanks!
