Hi All,
This has been stumping me for a while.  I remember when I was a kid there was this sci-fi film about aliens invading Earth from what I remember.  There were a few scenes that stood out in my mind.

The first was one where some unfortunate guys found these “melons”.  Well, one of the melons breaks open and sprays all over the guy.  He starts making groaning sounds and proceeds to explode apart. 

The second scene that I remember was one of the guys was in a large room.  On one of the wall was this large alien creature making unintelligible sounds.  The next thing I remember this guy is in a trance and approaches the alien, and then is eaten!  I remember clearly that his legs were hanging out of the mouth for a frame or two.  I do believe there was a girl in the scene too and she screams.

If you have any suggestions, it would be much appreciated!!!

Akiratubo, you are the man!  Yes, that sounds exactly like the movie.  I am going to put it on Netflix today and check it out.  Thank you!!!
