I'm off to Bettendorf, Iowa (it's right along the Mississippi River) to party, grill out, shoot pool, go swimming, watch the fireworks and drink lots of beer! It starts Friday-with a car and cycle display,a street dance, and a beer tent! Saterday is a parade and pig roast and fireworks! Title: Re: Have a Great 4th! Post by: ghouck on July 04, 2009, 10:31:38 PM In a town of about 2500, we have about 13,000 tour-iods visiting today for the 4th. I know people who, like me, live a couple miles outside of town, and it took them an hour to go those 2-3 miles. Glad I stayed home.
