Title: Movie Drinking Games!
Post by: Fausto on July 05, 2009, 01:43:22 PM
In memory of all the beer consumed during the recent fourth of july celebration, I'm posting a few movie drinking games that I've come up with. This format is based on (ie stolen) from Lazydork.com; a link to his site, which features many more drinking games, is below. Enjoy!

(DISCLAIMER: Fausto does not accept any responsibility for any accidents, injuries, alcohol poisonings, etc. that occur from playing these games. Do so at your own risk)

Mother of Tears

Drink anytime...

Someone dies
A bare breast appears onscreen (once for each breast)
Katrina's gold tooth is shown
Chaotic violence is shown
A member of Lachrymarum's coven appears onscreen
Witchcraft is mentioned or referred to

And if you really want to get wasted...
Anytime anyone mentions the word "Mother" (if its followed by "of tears", make it a double)

GamerZ

Drink anytime...

A game character gets killed
Marlyn does something slutty
Ralph gets jealous
Marlyn uses a healing spell
The word Z'rennk is used
Someone rolls dice

And if you really want to get wasted...
Anytime Marlyn refers to her character

Naked Lunch

Drink anytime...

A mugwump appears
Bill Lee types something
An insectlike creature appears
The black meat appears or is mentioned
Homosexuality is referenced
Dr Benway appears

And if you really want to get wasted...
Someone says the word "agent"

Here's a good one.  Take a shot everytime to see frogs just randomly croaking and doing nothing of importance in the movie Frogs.... Actually, that might kill someone.

How about this then?  Take a shot everything you see a bunch of ants moving around randomly in Ants.  Again, that might kill someone as well...

Maybe take a shot if you see something completely insane in Cool World... chug a beer everytime you hear a song begin in Raggedy Ann and Andy... take a shot everything the Blob doesn't look like a blob, but something else, in Beware! The Blob...  take a shot everytime someone says Battleship in The Giant Claw...

Heck with it.  I can't come up with a game that wouldn't lead to someone passing out.  I guess unless you are a risk taker, you may want to try these, but I wouldn't recommend it.

Mine is simple, watch a really bad movie, one you wish you could forget you watched, and drink until you kill enough brain cells to do so.

Nukie drinking game:
Every time the screen cuts to the "Space Foundation" building shot and the narrator announces it's the space foundation you have to also say "Space Foundation" and take a shot, if not you take two shots. If it's two of the rare occasions where the film cuts to said building and the narrator doesn't announce it as "Space Foundation" and you say "Space Foundation" you have to take three shots.

For the more hardcore drinkers:
Every time the character Meeko screams Nukie's name, you take a shot... which is throughout the damned movie.

For the raging alkie:
Apply all the game rules above from both Nukie drinking games and take a shot every time Nukie yells out Meeko's name.

Troll 2 drinking game:
Every time someone on film say's Goblin take a swig of your favorite beer.
When Joshua says the famous line "Nilbog... it's Goblin spelt backwards", say the line and take 4 shots. If you don't say the line take 6 shots.
Whenever someone on film says "Troll" take 32 shots!

For the hardcore alkie:
Substitute, in line one of Troll 2 drinking game "a swig of your favorite beer" with a shot.

If Footmen Tire You What Will Horses Do? drinking game:
Take a shot every time someone on screen says "God", take two every time someone says "Satan".
Take three shots of vodka at the scene when the Commissar is swilling Vodka and barging into the Christian peoples house.

Psychomania drinking game:
When Tom say's "What is the secret of the living dead" and bites into a sandwich take two shots.
Take a shot for every death on screen.

A "Unique Individual" is referred to by name
There is a cool color scheme employed
A new basket is used

This is an oldie, but . . .

Watch any of the POLTERGEIST movies and drink every time someone says "Carol Anne".

Warning: this is EXTREMELY dangerous.

Wild Zero has a good one, I hear its even on the DVD:

A character drinks
A character says "Rock 'n Roll"
A character combs their hair
A head pops
Something explodes
Fire shoots out of something
Tobio passes out

CSI Miami

Take a drink everytime:

Horatio puts on his sunglasses.
Horatio takes off his sunglasses.
A body is discovered.
A CSI is inexplicably interrogating a suspect.
Someone pauses and suddenly notices an obscure detail/clue that busts the case.
Two CSIs look at each other grimly.
There's a "collecting evidence" montage meant to speed up what would, in real life, be a long and rather dull process.

The movie What About Bob?, take a drink of something (we were using rum & coke) everytime someone says Bob.  You'll be cruising along fine, a decent, warm buzz, until you get to the scene where the Dr. is trying to wake Bob up.

We had to keep pausing during the scene to remake our drinks because we were chugging the things non-stop.

Return of the Boogeyman (1994)

Take a drink for each time the radio is dropped into the tub... [You'll have to be quick] :)
