I dunno about the Centurians...and Thundar was more an '80's cartoon-I was an adult in the 80's...but the Banana Splits were a corporate TV expliotation of the hippie generation...and the Splits were a kiddie show rip off of the Monkees....which were a bubblegum rip off of the Beatles....

My kid has been catching this lineup too and it rocks.  I think Centurians are crime fighters of some sort who have their weapons powered to them by an orbiting space station as needed.

I love Thundarr.  The plot line is so B-movie.

I bought my son one of those Centurions back in the 80's. They wore an exoskeleton that you could attach all kinds of weapons to. The one he had was called Max Ray.

IF you are a fan of general surrealism, then the first season of "The Banana Splits" is just your thing - after the first season, someone in Corporate must've said -
"Hey!  This is gettin' too druggy! . . ."
The Banana Splits was a great show to watch while stoked upon . . . well, I advocate nothing illegal here -
The first season is briliant.  After that, it seemed to get repetitive with what they could get away with in season one.
peter snokry/denny WOW, Man . . .
