Amazing how well known he is as a director, considering he was only active doing that for for 7 years and produced just 8 films. But when you've got PT and A, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Uncle Buck and The Breakfast Club (not to mention writing Vacation), it's one hell of a 7 year run.

My Mom loved that stupid movie The Great Outdoors. When John Candy shoots the hair off the bears butt, I thought she was going to fall off her chair.
