I thought we should do a top 100 list on video games, since it shouldn't be too hard.  There are a tons of horrible, HORRIBLE games there, but see if we can pick out just 100.  If you can, try finding a video or a review of the game to show us how bad it is.

I'll start with what I think is the worst game of all times.  The only game I have ever seen to score a 0 out of 10 from any gaming site or magizine.  It fails on every single level and that is this...

5)  Kileak, the DNA Imperative

Just an incredibly boring game.  You've got an energy weapon, one recharge station for the weapon, and miles of tunnels to walk through.  You'll spend 99% of the game walking back and forth from the recharge station.

7. Superman 64

OMG the rings... the rings... it never stops. Surely this game is proof that there are evil forces at work in the world. It is like the most bland tutorial you've ever been forced to sit through. On a loop. Forever.

This game was so lame I retuned at and asked for my money back, which they did !
It has been the only time I have ever retuned something.

9. Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon

11.  Action 52:

This game for the Sega Genesis and SNES had 52 different games on one cartridge, and every single one of them SUCKED!  So much so in fact that they are torture to play.  It is seriously less boring to just stare at a blank TV screen!  I've heard that the game originally cost $200.00.  I got mine for 10 bucks used a couple years after it came out.  The only reason I keep it is that I don't think I could sell it for anywhere near 10 bucks now.  That and and the fact that it may become a collectors item for being the worst game of all time.

12.  China Warrior

This game for the TG-16 was an utter piece of crap.  All this character can do is punch and kick forward.  The enemies are all the same except they change color.  The worst part about it is the control.  You can almost count the seconds from the time you push a button to when the character actually performs a punch or kick.  Believe it or not, some people actually like this game just because it has big sprites!  :lookingup:

14. Olympic Hockey Nagano '98

I'm sorry Big Rigs, you never got a O out of 10.  No, that went to this game for litterally being a carbon copy of another game released by Midway.  Nothing was changed except new colors and team names.  Everything is just the same as the first game.  The laziness game ever created!

15. Bubsy 3D

Oh my God... this game is horrible.  Trying to jump from 2D to 3D when the consoles evolved needed to happen for the Bubsy series, but the outcome is just sad.

18. Pit Fighter (SNES)

It was palatable in the arcades, but deviously painful in home form.  I remember renting this once and hating it so much that I took it back to the video store and told them it was misplaced and that I meant to rent Final Fantasy 3.  They took the game back and gave me a free credit.  :teddyr:

21. Phantasmagoria 2: A Puzzle of Flesh

Game number one was bad, but in good way.  This is just BAD!  I have brought this up many times in the past as my YouTube of the Day, but I should make this official.

22. Zero Wing

The game is patheticly average from what I've seen, but makes it so horrible is the translation job.  Haven't heard of it?  You probably have before, you just don't know it.  This phrase came from the game:

I hated Diablo 2 for too many reasons to list, but I absolutely LOVED the original, and the Hellfire expansion.

Yeah.  It's just one big commercial for Pepsi.  Just like those awful Burger King games were commercials for Burger King.  Gameplay is non-existent, but you can't escape the product placement.

A game so bad that a video game review at Gametrailers commited sucide after playing it.  It is that bad.

40.)  South Park PS1 - First person shooter gone way wrong. 

I don't know, I don't think you'll get a lot of backers on that one.  I mean, even if you didn't like the game, I think even you'd agree it's FAR from one of the WORST games out there.  Heck, I didn't like Balder's Gate, but I wouldn't call it a bad game, just wasn't my style (which is weird cause normally I like RPGS.) 

I'm waiting for Diablo 3, That looks crazy.

That Berenstein Bears game on the Jaguar was pretty bad.

I'm really surprised people liked it, and hadn't known of anyone that did until this thread, although I'd never sought out any fansites. Much of my hatred may come from too high of expectations, but nothing about it appealed to me. The graphics looked worse (and IIRC, they technically were, with a lower resolution), and the first thing that made me hate it was the 'gliding' of the character animation. I played D2 for a week or so before I realized I would start the game and then get a feeling of dread.

When I first played 'Dungeon Siege', I REALLY felt that it was exactly how D2 should have been.

I will probably give D3 a try. .

42. Gods and Generals

It's a movie based game and I think the worst programmed game around outside of Big Rigs.  It hurts with a 1.2 out of 10.

Karate Champ for NES.  It was popular in the arcades, and is of some historical note as the prototype for the modern 2D fighter..  But the control is awful, and the hit detection is probably the worst I've ever seen in any game.
