Title: Yay! Finally finished my music video! Post by: BTM on August 07, 2009, 12:15:55 PM Been working on this for a long while, should have been done ages ago but I kept procrastinating. Anyway, it's finished, my latest video!
This one is the song "Here To Stay" by Korn with clips from the film Silent Hill. Hopefully youtube will actually let me keep it up for awhile.... Now that you mention it, the "skin rip" scene would have been a good one to use for one of the "you've taken everything" lines... Damn, may have to re-edit now! BTW, did the video seem "okay" on your monitor? Not too dark, I mean? My monitor (an old CRT) plays videos a bit too dark for some reason, and I can't help but wonder if maybe I should have put a "brighten" filter in some scenes... For instance, in 2:30-2:34 you're supposed to see a bit from that scene where Pyramid Head reforms as the redhead girl lifts a rock to throw, but on the LCD monitor at work, I couldn't see a damn thing. Course, maybe it's not my monitor, maybe Youtube does something that "darkens" videos I don't know... the original file plays okay on my comp.... Anyway, as to your question about the movie, I believe the director has said that Rose remains in the "alternate" dimension of Silent Hill. She's not dead, just changed. The director's also that if they do a sequel, he may bring her back for a role in that one (guessing a cameo or something.) Anyway, thanks again for watching! Title: Re: Yay! It suits the song very well, kudos to you. :cheers: I like how you edited some of the scenes together to reflect exactly what was being sung.

Took a bit to sync them up on some of those, especially being my editor (Ulead) isn't the best (but, it was FREE, as it came with the computer, so I can't complain.) Wish I had Adobe Premiere, I'm told that's pretty much the PC version of Final Cut (an awesome program, even if Macs are a little weird to me...) |
