Title: (SOLVED) Some giant baby type mutants vs Elvis?
Post by: cptamorf on August 20, 2009, 01:56:00 AM
Hi Guys, first of all I am very happy that I have found this site. So many well educated people with great taste!

So there is a movie I have seen many years ago, but I can't remember the title. All i remember is that it was humorous or silly sometimes, it was maybe post apocalyptic and/or sci-fi. The hero reminded me a little bit of Bruce Campbell or Elvis. So the scene what is still in my mind is when this guy is fighting against giant fat mutants looked like big fat babies. The fight is happening in some tower maybe, but it was quite vertical that's for sure.

Not too much I know... Thanks very much for the help!

I haven't seen it yet so I don't know if there's a scene like you describe, but are you thinking of BUBBA HO-TEP by any chance?

Seems too obvious but sometimes the obvious one is the right answer.

Try "Spacehunter:  Adventures in the Forbidden Zone."  The hero runs into some fat mutant things that I nicknamed the Jenny Craig Reject Mutants.

Glad that I could help.  Your description had enough of the elements in it to help me make the connection, and "Spacehunter" tends to be a sought-after lost film.
