Title: Early 80's Alien Movie
Post by: taylorconrad8098 on September 02, 2009, 02:03:27 PM
Hi, i was wondering if you had ever heard of this film. When i was about 10 or 11 i saw it in the back of a video store, the front cover had a carton illustration of a head splitting in two and a insect like head being revealed. I think the title was I Was A Teenage Alien, though searches on that title have come up with very little. the movie was obviously made in the 80s and had very poor lighting. i remember it being pretty short. the plot had something to do with teens in a house and this girl they picked up turning out to be an alien. there was also two characters who provided a sort of laurel and hardy comic relief. the end had the girl getting picked up by some more teens. its really surprising i can rememeber all this. i do remember it being one of the worst movies i'd ever seen. i would say its even worse than manos hands of fate in being totally boring. i don't remember much dialogue either. i have searched the internet for this movie and found almost nothing. it's really hard for me to believe that a rather small video store in southern ohio would have such a rare film. it has since went out of business so who knows where the tape is now. any information you know would help. i started out looking for it on a whim now its become a challenge.

My best suggestion is a big maybe on "Alien Space Avenger."  I think one of it's releases had a cartoony cover.  There's also "Amanda & the Alien" and "Invasion of the Space Preachers" that match up a little.

There's also "I Was a Zombie for the FBI" that seems to have an alien plot (haven't seen it myself, just know of the title).
