It is pretty darn funny but I wouldn't exactly call it a comedy. The film has a light approach that makes what could've been rather dull and serious (but interesting) subject matter into some smart entertainment. I may watch it again sometime soon.

Of course, sometimes it takes me a long time to see movies on my list. I still haven't seen The Big Lebowski, another one that gets me every time I see a trailer. Title: Re: The Informant! Post by: Joe the Destroyer on September 30, 2009, 03:18:05 PM Just saw it last night. It's not bad. Not something I would go out of my way to see again, but it is pretty witty, funny, and unique. From the research I did, it stayed pretty close to the actual event. The only difference is they exaggerated a few scenes for comedic value, but most of the base stuff about Mark Whitacre is true.
