"TRANSYLVANIA 6-5000's biggest strength (other than sharing a title with one of my favorite Bugs Bunny cartoons) is where it plays with expectations. The castle/lab is expected to have a hunchback, so a hunchback is found and brought in to work as a servant. Being a hunchback is Radu's job description. Similarly, Malavaqua's transformations into a stereotypical mad scientist upon walking in the door of his lab are pretty funny, and his rants are top-notch."
