List the last thing you fixed (or tried to fix) with duct tape here.

My last use was today and it was pretty standard.  I had to reattach some heating ducts under my house that fell down. 

Retaped a rattan sword for SCA.

In high school I fixed a tear in my pants with duct tape, on the inside of course.  It worked pretty good.

The most recent thing I've fixed with duct tape...a friend's car. 

I was duct taped to a chair and whipped with a belt buckle for 2 hours.

I thought that was going to be our little secret, honeybuns...

The last thing I can remember was the duct from the clothes dryer to the wall.  It's in about 3 pieces and they keep falling apart.  Seeing as it's a duct, duct tape didn't work very well and it fell apart again.

Side note, the damn duct came down.   :hatred:  Back under the house I go again...this time armed with multiple twist ties.

For a sharp part on the door's edge. I put some duct tape on it 5 mins ago lol. :twirl:

Last thing I used duct tape on is repairing a small hole in the wall. My eldest daughter used it today to repair a cell phone.

One of my shoes had a huge hole it it, they're Converse All-stars, so I duct-taped it!

When I first heard people talking about this product years ago, I thought it was called 'duck' tape and I wondered who would be so daffy to buy that.  :wink:

I just used it...again...on the ducts...hopefully the twisty ties will do the trick.

I used it to repair a piece of masking tape (which was already being held together with Scotch tape).  This is known as the "Tape Circle of Life" (it's a wheel of fortune, don'tcha know).

My shower curtain ripped off from the rings.  I ran duct tape over the tears and snapped the rings back on.  All good now.

Last couple of interesting things I did with duct tape. I made a hook for retrieving the bird feeders in the back yard by duct taping a coathanger to a broom handle. And I made a big kite last summer out of a black garbage bag and some wood dowels, reinforcing the seams with strips of yellow duct tape.

one time i was bored and made duct tape shoes. It was awesome.

Had to return something to Amazon, used duct tape to seal the box shut.  I thought I had some nice packaging tape around here someplace, but I dunno.  Looked all over for it.  Used duct tape.   

About 20 years from now . . . after someone has invented a much better alternative to duct tape . . . we'll all be in here responding to a thread called, "Remember the old days when you could buy duct tape."

Nah, that'll never happen. I mean they'll have that many movies, but after every three or four, they'll start over. So, maybe it'll be Part 3. But they won't be numbering any sequels by that time, or at least not simply numbering them. It might be just "Friday the 13th" with the three really big. Or maybe all titles will be reduced to a couple of letters in a really fast-looking font. F13-3!

Do you think tying up studio execs with duct tape might be a good idea? Not all the time, just when there are creative decisions to be made.

contrary to what you see in movies...to use duct tape to tape someone's mouth shut is not very effective. when they start to get all sweaty the tape falls off.  :bluesad:

Unless someone is willing to sit down with me and has a few hours to spare, yes. But, not here. I would take me pages and pages of this forum to explain everything I went through in the past 4-5 years. Plus, this thread is about duct tape!!  :tongueout:
