Title: Need some help and info on a few Platinum DVDS.
Post by: John on March 31, 2002, 01:46:28 PM
I'm hoping that some of the DVD experts here could help me out with some of the Platinum DVD Titles. Platinum is a DVD label that has released some films on DVD, and they can be found for a cheap price at most stores, sometimes you can find a really great deal. Can anyone help me out with these questions?

Can anyone tell me about the "Blood Tide" DVD that was released by Platinum, how is the transfer? Is it the same complete version as the old Continental VHS?

How is the "Bail Out" DVD? The film stars Linda Blair and David Hasselhoff, how does the PlatinumDVD look and sound?

How is the Platinum DVD of "The Seniors", a 70's sex comedy starring Priscilla Barnes("Three's Company"). Is it the same complete version, and R Rated, as the Vestron VHS?

Also, how is the Bruce Lee film "Fist Of Fear, Touch Of Death" DVD put by Platinum, is it as good or better then the old Wizard VHS?

Has anyone seen the Platinum DVD of "Bruce Lee Fights Back From The Grave"? How is the transfer, is it as good or better then the old Media VHS?

I've read that Platinum DVD released the 80's George Kennedy and Ned Beatty film "Ministry Of Vengeance" on DVD but I can't seem to find it. Has anyone here seen this one, how does it look and sound?

Thanks to anyone who can help me these films.
