Title: Re: R.I.P. Paul Naschy 1934-2009 Post by: akiratubo on December 01, 2009, 10:19:18 PM I didn't like a single on of his movies that I watched but, you know what? I'm glad he made them, and I'm glad there was a time when a man could build a decades long career out of gluing hair to his face and going, "RARRRR! RARRRRR!" (We need those days back, incidentally.) I had nothing but the utmost repsect for him as an exploitation filmmaker, and I believe he deserved his legendary status. The B-movie world has truly lost something.
Adios, Jacinto, adios. Title: Re: R.I.P. Paul Naschy 1934-2009 Post by: Shadow on December 02, 2009, 12:35:35 AM RIP to a true legend.

Paul Naschy 1934-2009 Post by: Jack on December 02, 2009, 10:08:30 PM That's too bad. I've seen a few of his films and they were certainly dripping with Gothic atmosphere. Quite unique. And he seemed like a really nice guy as well. He will be missed.
Title: Re: R.I.P. Paul Naschy 1934-2009 Post by: Allhallowsday on December 03, 2009, 10:17:10 PM I wasn't really a fan..., I mean I am not yet a fan!! I do have this bizarre Italian production... VAMPIRE WOMAN VS. THE WEREWOLF...? Unmatchable, and didn't he always do his own makeup? Sad news. Good night, PAUL NASCHY.
Title: Re: R.I.P. Paul Naschy 1934-2009 Post by: Skull on December 04, 2009, 11:37:23 AM Blue Eyes of the Broken Doll (1973) is a very good Spanish Gaillo... And I'd really thought Paul Naschy looked like John Belushi... :)
