Gene Barry, who portrayed debonair lawmen on television but whose career of more than 60 years ranged from song and dance on Broadway to science fiction, died Wednesday in Woodland Hills, Calif. He was 90 and lived in Beverly Hills until about a year ago...

 :bluesad: R.I.P. Gene Barry. Of course I mainly remember him for War of the Worlds but I also caught him in The Atomic City and saw him on "Burke's Law". He always seemed classy.

I remember him long long ago as Bat Masterson.  Of course there was WOW and he made a brief appearance in the Spielberg version as Tom Cruise's father-in-law.
