Never want to be in jail, except as a visitor. But, I wouldn't think any amount of money can compensate for 35 years of one's life, which is basically gone, and he can never get back. As for the amount of money itself, unless it is tax free, he'll have to pay taxes on it. And also the lawyer also gets his or her cut of the money. |
