Title: Resolutions? Post by: Psycho Circus on January 05, 2010, 04:09:20 PM Has anyone got any resolutions or aims for 2010?

Post by: InformationGeek on January 05, 2010, 05:56:59 PM Let's see here, I've only had made 2 since they are simipler to handle and I know they are realistic for me to be able to do considering my standards and how I am.
1. Stop pulling out my arm hair (It's a bad habit I do when I'm extremely bored. Happens a lot at school unsurprisingly). 2. Watch every movie I ever bought. (I have movies I haven't watched since I bought them over a year ago. One of these days I'll watch Killer Tomatoes Strike Back) Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: flackbait on January 05, 2010, 07:00:15 PM 1. Take life less seriously
2. Drink More Mine sound like Im in a downward spiral, but I really do need to lighten up a bit. Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: Derf on January 05, 2010, 07:30:51 PM 1440 X 900. Anything else messes with my laptop screen.

Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: Mr. DS on January 05, 2010, 08:51:20 PM I just want to be the best dad I can be. Oh and to have a much better year than 2009. I wish the second wish to all my friends and family too.

Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: AndyC on January 05, 2010, 10:55:16 PM I don't really believe in New Years resolutions.
-Get my Thundercats tattoo removed Now why would you want to go and do that? I mean, unless you've got Lion-o emblazoned across your entire chest or something. :teddyr: Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: RCMerchant on January 05, 2010, 11:10:10 PM .I will not fall down in public.
.I will not blow my snots without a rag onto my shoes. .I will not tell a strange girl that she has a purdy mouf. .I will not have sex with girls with glass eyes-(cuz it's kinda creepy). .I WILL buy toilet paper-because coffee filters and the phone book are rough. .I will not masterbate in public restrooms. .I will never engage in a discussion of the merits (or lack of) the ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW with a lesbian ever again. . Post by: The Burgomaster on January 06, 2010, 09:04:34 AM Get back in shape and lose 40 pounds by the end of the year. I recently found out I have Type II diabetes and the doctor prescribed pills, limited my carb intake, and suggested exercising regularly. If I can get my blood sugar down through diet and exercise, I may not need the pills. When I was in my 20s and 30s I was a gym rat, going twice a day for at least 5 days per week (I'd lift weights in the morning, then go back at night for a cardio workout or vice-versa). At age 45, I don't think I'll ever be that intense about working out again, but if I can do it once a day 4 - 5 days per week, I'll be happy. So, maybe the diabetes is a good thing, in a twisted way.
Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: Trevor on January 06, 2010, 09:30:16 AM I have a chance to go to England in April and Germany in May this year for SA film festivals that are being held in London and Potsdam: I resolve not to let my current ill-health get in the way of my first business trips since 2003 and I hope that my bosses approve these trips, because I have been invited.

Mine is pretty achievable: rather than stop smoking altogether, I'm just going to limit myself to 6 cigarettes a day. I've been able to stick to it so far. Title: Re: Resolutions? I cannot commit to these resolutions as it would take at least 50% of the enjoyment out of my life. Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: Paquita on January 06, 2010, 09:58:16 PM I thought I didn't make any resolutions this year because I was sick, but then I realized that my list of stuff to do after Christmas and before next Christmas probably counts!
- Get a real haircut from a professional - Make some friends - Go to those belly dancing classes - Spend some time with the friends I make - Devise a successful money-making scheme with the girls at work that doesn't involve going to work - Don't get sick .I will not fall down in public. .I will not blow my snots without a rag onto my shoes. .I will not tell a strange girl that she has a purdy mouf. .I will not have sex with girls with glass eyes-(cuz it's kinda creepy). Ha! I imagine that all happened in the same afternoon in that order. I love you RC. Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: InformationGeek on January 06, 2010, 10:05:13 PM - Go to those belly dancing classes  ... ... :teddyr: .... :hot: That sums up my reaction. Title: Re: Resolutions? And that is disgusting :tongueout: use your own Toilet  Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: Javakoala on January 07, 2010, 10:48:48 PM -get a car
-keep my credit cards cleared up (if only there weren't so many DVD and Blu-Ray movies I want) -drop all of the 40 pounds I gained after leaving my ex (feeling like the end of your life is a great incentive to not care about food, but now, with a lust for life, food is WONDERFUL!) -focus on the two things that matter to me most: movies and writing...and the rest shall follow after that -end the year with at LEAST 5000 in the bank, if not more -get all those damned Gothic romance novel covers scanned (Mark that baby as DONE!) (P.S. Don't ask unless you REALLY want to know) -hopefully get my relationship with the love of my world to the point that we are at least both dating each other on a regular basis by the end of the year (P.S. the same as above) -stop masturbating in public...wait, where have I heard that before? Title: Re: Resolutions? Post by: JaseSF on January 08, 2010, 06:42:00 PM Kinda boring but:
