last night, I heard a sentance that I didnt think was physicly possible to say :

Some guy- "Twilight Zone is so stupid"

KYGOTC, deciding weather to buy "Cemetary Man" or "Tromeo and Juliet", looks up, as if he heard someone shout a racial slur. He then aproaches the man to confirm what he just heard assult his ear drums.
KYGOTC- "What? what did you say?"

Some guy- "Oh I was just sayin' how the Twilight Zone SUCKS."

KYGOTC- "......whaa what? .....How?"

Some guy-"I dunno man, it just rubs me the wrong way. It's just so OUTDATED. Aw, SWEET!! They've got FAMILY GUY here!"

KYGOTC, being is a state of total disbelief, is unable to muster up a proper comeback. He slumps away, loosly gripping onto his pre-baught dvds, a broken man.

The first couple of seasons of COSBY were actually very good, usually when Cosby was improvising, although the show jumped the shark quickly when Lisa Bonet left. I also think it has an important part in TV history as the first all-black TV comedy that didn't play up jive-talking stereotypes.

RC, you're fully entitled to your opinion. Me, I used to think similarly about The Golden Girls myself until my girlfriend got me watching a bit of it. Now I can't watch it without getting a laugh or being amused. One episode in particular I found really funny. Blanche, Rose and Dorothy all want to buy protection for a possible weekend rendezvous with some gentlemen friends. Dorothy tried to subtly give an hint to clueless Rose as to what they intend to buy only to be frustrated again and again. Finally, thoroughly flustered she shouts: "CONDOMS ROSE!! CONDOMS! CONDOMS! CONDOMS!" to which a man working at the store replies: "Whoa lady clam down, did you just get out of prison?"  :bouncegiggle:

Are You Being Served? is one of those rare shows that makes me laugh from right down deep in my belly. I honestly don't know if any series makes me laugh more than this classic. I have the entire series on DVD and whenever I'm feeling down, putting it on is sure to cheer me up. Surprised it's getting bashed here.

I'm indifferent to Served?, as I like it, but not enough to save it.  Price was ace when Barker hosted it.  I like Drew Carey as a standup, but his game show hosting skills need to be improved.
