I can't imagine George Lopez as the voice of Speedy Gonzales. Let alone the fact their making a movie version of that. What'll they base their next movie off of Quick Draw Mcgraw? I don't have anything against George Lopez, but that has gotta be the one of the dumber ideas for a movie yet (at least they got their idea from a cartoon, and not a board game though!) I've still never understood what was so racist about Speedy - yeah, he's a stereotype, but it's not really a negative one and he was always the hero. Maybe the side characters (who don't even appear in all the cartoons anyway) I could understand.
Whatever. The character is really popular in Mexico and South America, from my understanding, so it appears to be basically something that bothers Americans, not hispanic people in general. Oh yes, and George Lopez is a terrible choice for Speedy. Sorry, I think he can be funny, but his voice will never fit any incarnation of the character.
